The Naturschutzjugend im LBV (NAJU) is the independent youth organization of the LBV. More than 140 children's and youth groups and around 13,000 members up to the age of 27 are committed to preserving the environment.

Formerly published annually in print, the NAJU team and I have transferred the Wildwuchs magazine into a digital context and made it fit for the web. This includes a simple but straightforward design system that is mainly one thing: Expressive!

The system is made up of typography that can be both legible and bold, paired with a bright color scheme and loooooots of movement! This is how nature conservation content for a young audience keeps up with TikTok and co.

In the four themed sections, authors of all ages address the four core topics of each magazine: this year's annual theme section focuses on diversity. In the review section, readers are given an overview of what has been going on at NAJU over the past year and in the third section contains activity offers for the coming year. Nestflüchter is the final section for children.
